Improve the product value stream by addressing safety, quality, cost and delivery for manufacturing.
Perform studies regarding machine capacity, equipment utilization, tact times, and supermarket inventory levels that are aligned with customer demand levels.
Facilitate Lean Manufacturing initiatives either through self-motivation or as directed.
Develop equipment layout changes and maintain plant facility CAD layout
Collect and analyze data through various projects that will lead to root cause problem solving of plant scrap and plant in-efficiencies.
Design fixturing, jigs, and specify tooling requirements for fabrication, welding, and assembly departments
Recommend capital improvement opportunities and initiatives that support world class operating principles.
Maintain routings, labor standards, and assist in BOM structure work.
Perform work measurement time study analysis and set labor standards.
Program and maintain CNC laser and turret punch press nesting programs for new and revised parts.
Create new and maintain existing PLC and Robotic programs.
Interface with all members of the manufacturing team to support daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly performance goals and metrics.
Other responsibilities and duties as directed by the Engineering Manager.

Essential education, licenses, certifications, skills and experience:
B.S. in Industrial Engineering or related discipline
3-5 years manufacturing or related experience and/or training
