This position is for a professional in Supply Chain. Works with limited supervision to achieve day-to-day objectives impacting supply chain strategies and operational goals. Responsible for making minor changes or enhancements to supply chain management processes and systems. Explains policies, practices and procedures to other functions to support Supply Chain Strategy.

Primary Responsibilities

Performs analysis and forecasting of inventory
Develop, analyze and present reports and metrics related to inventory and suppliers
Review and update inventory setting in SAP Material Resource Planning (MRP) system
Evaluate supplier quotes and services to determine most desirable suppliers
Participate in negotiations of purchasing agreements with suppliers
Performs purchasing function – quoting, placing purchase orders, status meetings, order expediting, change orders, and payment of invoice
Report, monitor and drive supplier performance

General Qualifications:
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to represent the company internally and externally
Ability to work in a team environment and work effectively with all levels of internal and external customers
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers, suppliers or employees
Detail oriented with demonstrated organizational and time management skills
Self-directed and action-oriented with the ability to work with minimal supervision
Ability to negotiate, troubleshoot and problem solve
Ability to work under pressure and within time constraints
Must be a US Person

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with SAP or equivalent ERP system
Continuous Improvement process/Lean experience
Intermediate to Advanced Microsoft Office software (Excel, Access, PowerPoint)

Bachelor’s degree in an appropriate discipline and 3 years of relevant experience or
7 years of relevant experience
