Responsible for seeking out and nurturing relationships with developers in Berkeley County, Dorchester County, and Charleston County that are building within an FTTP environment, with a focus on becoming a liaison between Home Telecom and the developer(s) for all things pertinent to Home Telecom’s business operations. In-depth knowledge of FTTH technology and applications. Knowledge of the local real estate market: Responsible for knowing who the developers and major players are that are building and/or planning to build within the local region. This position requires contact with and the ability to work with every department at Home Telecom. Must have a working knowledge of the entire line of products and services offered by the company. Position requires interaction and the ability to interface with hourly employees up through the highest levels of upper management. Position requires the ability to negotiate and interpret contracts. The Account Executive – Developer Relations is responsible for observing trends and activities from local competitors and to anticipate future needs.
Position requires the use of Salesforce CRM to document activities. The Account Execute – Developer Relations is responsible for documenting all development activity of interest to Home Telecom in the Tri-County region for analysis and to regularly communicate with Home Telecom Outside Plant and Engineering regarding these projects.
Works with customers to assist in developing mutually beneficial marketing tools.
Responsible for negotiating and presenting pricing for contracted services to developers, HOA’s, POA’s, etc.
Works with upper management and finance to develop pricing for contracted services.
Ensure all customer issues are being managed and resolved.
Attends County and Municipal functions to obtain and distribute pertinent information as it pertains to developer relations.
Determine Home Telecom’s value proposition and communicate it clearly to all potential business and residential customers. Document status of projects in the Tri-County Charleston area.
Possess a broad understanding of Home Telecom’s products and services.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or equivalent education.
Minimum of five (5) years of sales experience.
Familiar with Microsoft Office software.
