Salary Range: $60,000-$100,000 USD per year

The successful applicant will join ATR's Engineering Services Division, working as a team member at our government client site involved in improving and validating the target strength predictive model for Naval Surface Warfare Center Carderock Division, West Bethesda. Duties include, but not limited to:
Update and improve the program functions including user interface
Ensure proper testing, validation, and verification of software
Debug and take corrective actions as required
Maintain proper configuration control and documentation
Produce technical documents and reports
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or Physics
Advanced degree preferred
2-4 year experience in software development life cycle implantation is a plus
SKILLS & ABILITIES REQUIREMENTS:
Knowledge of Information Technology (IT) system
Knowledge of computer systems and computer network
Knowledge of C#, FORTRAN and object oriented programming
Knowledge of physics and mathematics
Ability to effectively communicate orally and in writing
Some travel may be required
Candidate must be a US citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance or favorable adjudication of a national security background investigation. Current successful background investigation completion is a plus.
