Job Description:
Kratos Defense & Rocket Support Services is currently seeking a Flight Control Engineer who will be responsible for design, analysis, testing, and implementation of launch vehicle flight control systems in the aerospace and defense industry.

Required Experience:
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Develop vehicle simulations with 1, 3, and 6 degrees of freedom
Perform linear stability analysis
Tune control gains to obtain desired results and margin
Perform Monte Carlo simulations
Hardware in the loop (HWIL) testing
System integration
Write test plans, procedures and reports
Launch support at US and foreign launch ranges
Travel up to 35% to support integration and launch operations

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
Strong working knowledge of control systems
Must have experience with MATLAB
Ability to interact effectively with peers and supervisors
Ability to adhere to workplace rules

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
M.S. or greater in Aerospace or Electrical Engineering (or similar discipline)
Experience working with classical and/or modern control theory, design and analysis
Good communication skills
Ability to prepare, review, and evaluate documentation, specifications, test plans and procedures
Three (3) years' related experienced preferred
