If so we have just the contract assignment for you. In this role you will be responsible for overseeing all technical aspects of software development, including leading technical direction, designing, developing and maintaining designated software applications. Job Duties:
Provides technical leadership and vision for software solutions, technical strategy and design, coordination of projects or tasks, planning and organization of developmental work, and insuring quality software deliverables.
Designs effective application recovery strategies, approaches to track and monitor the health of software systems, and vision for minimizing/preventing functional and technical software issues across multiple environments and platforms.
Designs and develops complex software solutions and related components.
Exhibits mature subject matter expertise in object-oriented development practices.
Grows, mentors, and matures critical skills of the software development departments/teams.
Instructs, influences, engages and enables other developers to achieve company, project, and team-related goals.
Delegates technical execution or responsibilities when appropriate.
Provides timely, effective resolution of software problems, questions, and additional assignments.
Leads the evolution of company-level best practices, standards, and policies as it relates to software development.
Exhibits productive and positive team work skills and habits.
Acts as a liaison between technical and business teams, focusing on the big picture to meet business requirements.

Job Knowledge and Skill Requirements:
Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related area of study. Experienced resume in field.
Five or more years of experience performing software development, support and maintenance.
Strong background in .NET/C# and related technologies (C#, ASP, MVC, JavaScript, AngularJS, Bootstrap, jQuery, HTML, XML, JSON, Web Services, Entity Framework, LINQ, SQL Server).
Ability to articulate Object Oriented concepts and experience.
Documented and proven software development record as it relates to the technologies, tools and languages required for the specified position.
Competent communication skills, including clear and timely communication on business issues and assignments with peers, management and product owners.
Experience leading effective meetings.
Ability to quickly learn and comprehend insurance-related topics and technologies; relate that knowledge to the development process.
Business casual dress with some dress down days, cafe on site, cubicles for the work space and free parking.
