Civil Consulting Group (CCG) is seeking talented Civil Engineering-In-Training & Professional Engineer candidates (Transportation/Drainage Design) to join our office in McKinney, TX.

New team members will be actively involved in the design of roadway, drainage and utility projects. One should also possess the ability to manage multiple projects, meet client deadlines and coordinate with clients/fellow team members. Civil Consulting Group (CCG) is a Texas-based consulting firm with an established track record on a diverse range of projects. We specialize in transportation-related Civil Engineering design, providing engineering services to cities, counties, TxDOT, and NTTA. Our projects extend to all regions of the State.

Required Minimum Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from an U.S. ABET certified university
Engineer In Training (EIT) Certification or PE License required
1+ yr of related Roadway/Drainage experience
Previous roadway design experience on TxDOT or municipal projects
Experience with Microstation/Geopak
OpenRoads experience is a plus

General Responsibilities

Ability to work in a team environment with other engineers & designers
Perform geometric design of roadways
Perform Hydrologic & Hydraulic analysis of open and closed drainage systems using HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS, Geopak Drainage
Provide project management oversight and apply engineering expertise during daily operations
Active participation in marketing efforts

Required Skills

Working knowledge of schematic design and PS&E development in Texas
Excellent written and oral communication skills are paramount
Strong sense of time management and ability to prioritize tasks
Willingness to support the design and production of plans
Ability to manage concurrent projects
Proficient with Microsoft Office Software (Word, Excel & Outlook. MS Project is a plus)
Familiarity with HEC-HMS and HEC-RAS is a plus
