Systems Engineer (Entry-Level)
Who You Are
You apply an interdisciplinary, collaborative approach to assist with analyses, design, development and verification of a lifecycle balanced system of systems and system solutions. You assist with analyses to evaluates customer/operational needs to define system performance requirements, integrate technical parameters and assure compatibility of all physical, functional and program interfaces. You assist with various analyses to optimize total system of systems and/or system architecture. You assist with analyses for affordability, safety, reliability, maintainability, testability, human systems integration, survivability, vulnerability, susceptibility, system security, regulatory, certification, product assurance and other specialties quality factors into a preferred configuration to ensure mission success.
Working closely with other engineering disciplines in an integrated team environment to develop procurement specifications and statements of work for a variety of complex systems.
Performs stakeholder needs analysis, technical measure definition, and requirements analysis, allocation and definition.
Uses the structured requirements process to ensure requirements are clear, unambiguous verifiable and affordable.
Assists with various analyses to optimize total system of systems and/or system architecture.
Assists with analyses for affordability, maintainability, testability, integration, certification, product assurance and other specialties quality factors into a preferred configuration to ensure mission success.
This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance (Post-start) for which the US Government requires US Citizenship.
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor).
Experience dealing directly with government or military customers
Experience in the field of simulation, particularly aircrew (flight) simulators and/or trainers
This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship
Applicable and appropriate educational/certification credentials from an accredited institution and/or equivalent experience is required.
