Title: Quality Engineer - 2nd Shift
Location: Lansing Mi
Hours: Sunday- Thursday 7:00pm to 5:30am
Job Description: As a Quality Engineer with Manitou Pontoon’s your responsibilities include designing quality standards, inspecting materials, equipment, processes, and products, developing quality control systems, and determining corrective actions. You will also work with managers and supervisors to implement quality measures.
Required Qualifications:
- Associates Degree and 3 years experience or 5 years experience as a Quality Engineer
- Ability to work independently
- ISO 9001 or 10012 experience
- Ability to communicate efficiently between shifts
Preferred Qualifications:
- Green Belt/Six sigma certification
- Visio and MS Project software
Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear; and use hands to manipulate objects or controls. The employee is regularly required to stand, walk, bend, squat, push, and pull. The employee will be required to lift 50+ pounds, and work at Elevation of 3 feet or greater.
