onsemi is seeking a self-driven and motivated professional to join their CIM (Computer Integrated Manufacturing) team, located in Nampa, Idaho. As a CIM Engineer (Business Analyst / Software Developer / System Engineer), you will have the opportunity to participate and contribute in a team to sustain and enhance complex computerized automated integrated manufacturing systems. This includes the analysis, design, development, integration and testing of new systems as well as sustaining continuous improvement of existing systems used by manufacturing and business customers. This role involves working closely with business partners and other IT (Information Technology) team members to provide innovative solutions to the unique requirements of semiconductor manufacturing.

Performance Objectives

The successful candidate will:
Build and maintain strong working relationships with various cross-functional team of peers, customers, and vendors.
Develop and deliver using a strategy that focuses on sustainability as well as maintenance and optimization of the existing application portfolio; adjust quickly to changing priorities and work in an agile environment.
Independently and effectively organize, manage, and complete multiple assignments with challenging timelines.
Demonstrate effective analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Exhibit strong verbal and written communication skills.
Provide customer support for semiconductor processing manufacturing systems.

Communication

Communicate effectively across all levels of the organization including management, business representatives, IT peers, customers and vendors.
Create documentation to capture detailed analysis and design to satisfy current and future business requirements as well as support current sustaining processes.

Client Management

Continually promote practices to improve internal client satisfaction and deepen client relationships.
Facilitate client meetings to identify needs and capture accurate business requirements.

Engineering Knowledge

Demonstrate solid applied knowledge of software engineering, information systems and technology life cycle practices.
Apply Project Management concepts to support concurrent projects while implementing solutions.
Coordinate the deployment / integration of solutions with local, global and vendor teams.

Applied Knowledge

Demonstrate proficiency with modern programming languages and environments such as the Microsoft .NET framework or Java frameworks. Optional experience with Groovy and/or Python.
Demonstrate proficiency with TSQL and relational database principles to ensure the integrity of stored data.
Demonstrate familiarity with modern version control systems such as GIT.
Demonstrate familiarity of Windows and UNIX/Linux operating systems.
Familiarity with SEMI Standard GEM/SECS protocol is a plus.

Qualifications

Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or related field.
0-2 years of related experience preferred

Local candidate to the NW US.
