Key Responsibilities Works with Programmers to develop paint processes for all new launches. Works with the Paint Team to continually improve existing paint processes in response to yield and quality issues. Creates weekly reports summarizing overall part quality and drives improvements by using a structured, scientific process. Drives process trials and quality validations. Generates continuous improvements and cost savings via material, yield and cycle time improvements. Acts as a key member of Capital Projects, contributing to investment in new technologies. Responsible for development and implementation of all standardized work instructions related to the paint department Main liaison with Program Management for APQP related activities. Continuous assessments of the current process specifications (including checklists), conducting investigations and implementing the appropriate improvements. Maintain working areas in a clean and safe manner, complying with all H&S and Housekeeping Policies. Key Responsibilities Continued Active participation in all departmental Safety, Quality, Production, Cost, Morale and Environmental CI Initiatives. Must adhere to Rollstamp safety policies and procedures. Communicate with all departments/management as required. To support and follow Company policies and business objectives in the daily development of team members. To demonstrate problem solving skills in a work environment that is striving for continuous improvement. Maintain work performance within the guidelines of TS-16949. Participate as a cross-functional team member on focused continuous improvement teams as required.

College or University Graduate in a technical field.
Minimum 3 years hands on experience as a Paint Process Technician
Strong Problem solving skills to deal with issues as they arise.
Strong Interpersonal skills and the ability to provide guidance to others .
Computer literate (MS Office, Lotus Notes).
Practical knowledge and skills in data analysis, statistical analysis, chart making and auto cad required. Additional Information
