WANTED: A Lead Systems Engineer with a Secret Clearance who will support our Support Naval Sea Systems Command on the PMS377 program for construction and delivery of LHA 7 and LHA 8. Support will be direct interface with the customer in the areas of Combat Systems, Ship Systems and especially Navigation.

A week in the life of a Lead Systems Engineer:
Complete or review changes to draft Navigation, Command & Surveillance Systems and Computer Room/Data Processing Center (NAVSSI a plus).
Review of LHA 8 , SSDS GFI, and provided comments.
Continued to review and develop draft responses and required documentation to shipbuilder technical questions on LHA 8 combat and communication systems.
Completed review of shipbuilder Engineering Change Proposals (ECP).
Completed review of the LHA 8 GEDMS Ship Project Directive Pt III and provided comments.
Completed review of briefings in preparation for the PEO IWS PARM.

College Degree with 10 years experience or High School degree with 15 years experience in US Navy Surface ship systems.
Ship board experience is a plus.
Secret clearance required.
