Desired Skill Requirements:
One (1) year of engineering work experience.
The candidate shall will be expected to perform the following tasks:
The candidate will assist in the maintenance and operation of U.S. Navy test and evaluation systems.
Operate and manage equipment used to control and monitor processes, systems and machinery in many different areas.
Write specifications and drawing up theoretical designs to create user-friendly interfaces.
Planning projects and assist in preparing and managing budgets.
Write technical reports and keep up to date with developments in technology and regulations.
Evaluate operational systems and recommending design modifications to eliminate causes of malfunctions or changes in system requirements.
Use computer-assisted engineering (CAE) and design software and equipment to perform engineering tasks.
In addition, the candidate will perform data collection, processing, analysis, assessments and provide debriefs; specifically associated with:
Monitor Fleet training schedules to identify requirements for analysis support.
Provide training and pre-sail briefings to platforms under test as required to review test scenarios and data collection requirements.
Perform on-board and/or on-shore data collection and complete reconstruction and analysis of events in accordance with established procedures.
Process the platform and range data into data files to perform real-time or post-operational exercise debriefs.
Collect and compile the platform data packages and forward to Government personnel on shore for post-operational exercise reconstruction, analysis and report generation. Receive data files and data reports to perform post-operational exercise debriefs to platforms.
Extract, process, reduce and reconstruct exercise data. The Contractor shall perform detailed event and data analysis (i.e., timelines, narratives, overall event execution descriptions, etc.) as required to support training and debriefs.
Coordinate with and support Government analysis personnel to complete project requirements.
Provide training utilizing data files and data reports collected during exercises.
The candidate will provide test data analysis support; in that:
The candidate shall extract, process, reduce and reconstruct exercise data.
Shall reduce/analyze test data in accordance with established format and schedule.
Shall provide the necessary reports, data tables, documentation, graphs, and charts to support event analysis.
Shall support coordination, resolution of problems, and new requirements for processing hardware and software.
Bachelor's degree from an ABET Accredited college or university in Electrical/Electronic or Computer Engineering. Desired recent graduate with minimum 3.0 GPA with 3.5 GPA preferred if minimal work experience.
