Based in our Ann Arbor office, the incumbent in this role will be a critical team member helping to develop cutting edge technology within the Life Sciences industry. About the job As a member of the advanced algorithm development group, the research engineer will create and implement algorithms for acquisition, analysis and display of cell microscopy images for our commercial products. The research engineer will work with life scientists to understand the biological application of interest and with other engineers and software developers in integrating the algorithms into our products.

About you Qualifications:
PH.D. or M.S. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related fields

Preferred Qualification:
MATLAB, C++ programming experience
Experience in deep learning and convolutional neural networks and its applications to image processing and computer vision
Familiarity with cell biology
Familiarity with cell microscopy
