Currently we have an excellent opportunity for a Civil Engineer to join our team in our Vancouver office.

Key Responsibilities

Provide project management for a variety of civil engineering projects, including management of design budgets, project timelines, etc.
Provide mentorship and oversight/direction to junior and intermediate technical design staff
Provide technical design review and engineer-of-record services for a variety of civil engineering projects
Provide engineering services during construction of civil works, including liaison with municipal inspection and engineering staff, as well as contractors and the public
Prepare civil engineering services proposals
Prepare budgets and schedules by projecting resource needs and determining priorities.
Coordinate civil engineering designs and documents with engineering consultants, both external and ‘in-house’
Liaise with clients and approving authorities
Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
Registered as P. Eng with APEGBC
Minimum of 5 years of local experience in land development
Experience with cost estimating, civil construction management, and construction contract administration
Experience with storm water and water system modeling is a plus
Working knowledge of civil design software such as AutoCAD Civil 3D, Google SketchUp
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Strong knowledge of MS Office
Excellent interpersonal skills; self-starter and team player
A valid driver's license.
