Rite-Solutions, Inc., a growing and innovative CMMI Level 3 software and systems engineering company, is seeking Test Engineers for immediate openings. The successful candidates will support the design, development, production, integration and test of various systems for Navy Electronic Warfare and Imaging systems. This position may be located on-site at the customer location in Naval Undersea Warfare Center, Newport, RI, at a Naval Facility or in one of our offices.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
Develop test criteria and design of test systems including test software applications
Perform component and architecture trade studies to determine optimal system solutions
Document and present trade studies, analyses, test results, status, etc. to the team
Design, simulate and implement digital and analog circuits
Generate design and interface documentation
Integrate, test, troubleshoot, and verify hardware
Participate in various technical and program meetings
Assist in the development of new test engineering documentation such as test planning documents, test procedures and test reports
Conduct informal and formal tests as required to validate all planned testable requirements.
Bachelor's degree in a STEM field and 4 years of related operational experience
Experience with systems and data modeling techniques is desirable
System Engineering experience related to test systems
Strong working knowledge of lab based test equipment/applications
Networking experience is desirable
A working knowledge of MS Office
Demonstrated writing and presentation skills
Knowledge and experience with practices and procedures for CMMI Software Development Level 3 or greater is a plus
Must be able to work in a team environment
Position requires U.S. Citizenship and the ability to obtain a security clearance with the US government. An active security clearance is strongly preferred.
