Summary:
As a Process Engineer at Dynapower, your main focus is interpreting product technical data packages and developing manufacturing processes (for both inhouse and subcontracted mechanical assembly) that ensure that the produced product meets all applicable specifications and requirements. What You'll Be Doing:
On an average day, you’ll:
Assess existing processes and workflows
Directly support the Supplier Engineer with the assessment and onboarding of contract manufacturers
Optimize productivity by designing, implementing, and testing new procedures
Assemble reports to document process status and changes
Track metrics to discover areas for improvement and monitor upgrades
Communicate findings and proposals to upper management
Provide thorough instructions for successful implementation of process changes
Assess compliance with applicable safety and quality standards
What You Need To Apply:
Required
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent combination of education and experience
5 years of experience in a Manufacturing environment
Experience in industrial processing including metal fabrication, welding, electrical components, surface finishing, mechanical assembly, and electrical wiring
Strong knowledge of blueprint reading and interpretation
Proficient with Microsoft Office suite software, including the ability to write reports and procedures, perform data analysis, and public speaking
Experience designing Lean Manufacturing pull process flows
Preferred
Professional certifications such as a Certified Quality Inspector, Six Sigma, or Lean Manufacturing
Mechanical aptitude, familiarity with electrical systems
Knowledge of Training Within Industry (TWI)

Work Environment:
This is a full-time exempt position, Monday through Friday. It is based in our facility in South Burlington, VT. The position operates in both a professional office environment and manufacturing environment. This position may require periodic international travel.
