Williams International is seeking an entry level Materials & Processes engineer to work at its world headquarters in Pontiac, Michigan. This position is a part of the engineering rotation program. Recent college graduates that enter Williams International's Materials & Processes rotational program can expect to spend approximately six months' time in each of two to three different engineering areas such as Manufacturing, Design or Test Engineering. At the end of the rotations, the individual is placed into a regular assignment within the Materials & Processes department. The qualified candidate will enjoy working in a challenging, fast pace, team environment, developing and supporting materials processes for both research and development, repair and production hardware.
Bachelor’s degree in Materials Science Engineering or Metallurgical Engineering and an interest in gas turbine engine manufacturing
A cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above, preferred
One to two years of summer intern or co-op experience in an engineering environment is desirable
Excellent writing skills, required
Responsible for and accountable for product safety and the quality of work, including, as a minimum, all elements defined in the Company’s Quality Policy
Position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Government Security Clearance, if needed.
