Advanced Development Programs position with responsibility for Navigation Subsystems. Tasks involve hardware development, subcontractor technical management, electrical/logical interface development and documentation, subsystem integration and test.
The position requires strong coordination,
communication, and problem-solving skills to manage all aspects of system/subsystem development, integration, and verification, requiring collaboration with multiple teams and technical and program status reporting to leadership and customer personnel.
Additional role description includes management of a complex electronic hardware procurement and integration for a variety of Navigation electronic equipment and systems, including communication radio and inertial navigation systems. Knowledgeable with test techniques both at the equipment level and the aircraft level, and develop problem solutions and work-around plans. Work with Mission Systems Design/Test Engineers to assure sub-system designs meet intended overall system design goals. Interpretation of customer requirements, creation of system and equipment level requirements, development of statements of work, implementation, test, integration, and closure. Provides this technical expertise to internal and external customers who integrate, field and sustain responsible products.
Candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance.
A level 4 employee Typically has 9 - 15 years of professional experience.

Desired Skills:Experience in the following:
- Bachelors degree in STEM related discipline.
- Integrated or federated CNI (radios, datalinks, radio navigation, IFF) GPS, inertial, or EGI Navigation subsystem experience.
- Technical Leadership
- Agile/Scrum Development
- Supplier Management
- RFC and Antenna Experience
- Experience with avionic sub-systems
- Specific knowledge and hands on experience with CNI subsystems.
- IFF DoD AIMS certification, Link 16 EMC certification, civilian navigation mandates and certification
- F-35 or F-22 experience
