The Markey Cancer Center Informatics Core requires the development and support of complex computer servers and systems to support research level informatics applications for electronic population based cancer surveillance, SEER*DMS, electronic medical records (EMR) data feeds, biospecimen management, bioinformatics, proteomics, natural language processing, and data warehousing in an open source Linux environment. A systems programmer is needed to modify and maintain complex server operating systems, application components, and system security.
