ActioNet has an immediate opportunity for a Jr. O365 Engineer located in Washington, DC. ActioNet is an IT service provider and solutions integrator headquartered in Vienna, VA that works with the Federal Government and Department of Defense.
Engineering support of Hybrid On-Prem/Cloud Microsoft Exchange, Microsoft Enterprise Office 365, Microsoft Skype for Business, Microsoft Office ProPlus, and Azure applications for productivity, E-mail, broadcasts, and calendar services; and Microsoft In Tune, Apple Device Enrollment Program (DEP), Mobile Device Management (MDM) services.
Engineering support for Microsoft ATP, Teams and OneDrive.
Provide quality customer service, troubleshooting, resolution, restoration, provisioning, and availability of Mail and MDM services to DOT end users.
Fulfill requests and restore issues based on urgency, impact, and priority SLAs.
Ensure timely fulfillment of requested Mail and MDM services for role-based access, permissions, distribution lists, E-mail broadcasts, conference room privileges, mailboxes, calendars, and other functionality using Microsoft administration tools including PowerShell.
Coordinate change and release of Mail and MDM services, functions, patches, and upgrades in production including design, architecture, configuration, communications, testing, implementation, monitoring and operations.
Provide knowledge articles, training, and demonstration to Service Desk and end users.
Follow ITIL-based incident, event, problem, configuration and change management processes.
Troubleshoot, root cause analysis, and apply workarounds and resolutions with IT Application Hosting and Infrastructure teams and third-party product vendors.
Assess security vulnerabilities and incidents, and implement patch, upgrades, and E-mail blocking remediation reducing threats and risks.
Participate in 24/7 rotation of on-call support with engineering team.
Work with server, network, database, and storage administrators for routine operations.
Participate in Disaster Recovery, documentation, and testing.
Be a highly cohesive team member and a change agent while serving as a consultant.
Required Job Experience:
Performed basic IT request fulfillment, incident, problem and change management.
Performed Mail, Calendar and MDM engineering projects, tasks, and troubleshooting.
Performed configuration, integration, testing, release, maintenance, and support of Microsoft O365 cloud, Exchange 2013/2016, Azure, Office suite, and Outlook applications using Microsoft administration tools.
Proficient PowerShell scripting.
Performed user account administration, patching maintenance, system monitoring, and wireless device synchronization.
Created/modified/removed distribution lists, E-mail broadcasts, conference room privileges, mailboxes, and calendars.
Performed configuration, testing, release, maintenance, and support of MDM applications Microsoft In Tune, Apple DEP or with products with similar functionality.
Manage Microsoft OneDrive
Manage Microsoft Teams.
At least 3 to 5 years of experience in administration of mail, calendar, wireless, and MDM services.
Nice to Have:
Performed configuration of E-mail security gateway controls using microsoft ATP or similar products.
Administered Windows Operating Systems, Active Directory and Group Policy functionality.
Written knowledge articles, training materials and provided end user training on Mail, Calendar, and MDM functionality and usage.
Technical Degree or the equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
