Title: Solar Photovoltaic (PV) Rooftop Engineer
Term: Contract, 2 years
Location: Candidate will be able to work from their home office.
Travel to project sites in Mexico will be required once per month.
Travel to client offices in Japan will be required every two months.
Seeking a Solar PV Rooftop Engineer who has strong knowledge of PVSyst. PVSyst is designed to be used by architects, engineers, and researchers. It is also a very useful educational tool. It includes a detailed contextual Help menu that explains the procedures and models that are used and offers a user-friendly approach with a guide to develop a project. PVSyst can import meteo data, as well as other data from many different sources.
Will monitor, analyze and make recommendations to client for solar, PV, rooftop installation projects.
Must be able to assess all the potential risks associated with the project and report to the client the potential risks.
Will work within PVSyst to execute the work.
Create both a report and an action plan that the client can then utilize to prepare and implement a proactive and safety focused solution.
Must have an electrical or mechanical engineering degree.
Must have 10 or more years of experience in rooftop PV projects.
Must have PVSyst Software experience (https://www.pvsyst.com/).
Must have risk analysis experience.
