IBM MQ Administrator (Public Trust) US Citizenship
This is a mid-level E-commerce position requiring a minimum of bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field or have equivalent work experience. Must have at least 5 years’ experience in MQ product support. Must have strong administration support skills in MQ product support in an AIX, RHEL or Solaris environment and strong communication and documentation skills. Be able to lead and coordinate the design, development, implementation and support of specialized business and technical information technology solutions.
Required Skills and/or Product Knowledge: * A third party assessment test will be required as determined by Perspecta prior to onboarding. * Need a resource fully knowledgeable with the MQ suite of technologies. * Must have experience with installing and configuring MQ on AIX, RHEL or Solaris based operating systems. * Must be able to provide installation, optimization, and troubleshooting support for MQ and associated MQ products. * Must be able to work with Developers who design, develop, code test and implement procedures to load the data warehouse according to the approved design and technical models incorporating the business rules and data requirements. The Service will encompass but not be limited to: ? Architecture/Design support for MQ applications ? Infrastructure Support for MQ applications ? CRQ support ? General application support Perspecta will provide knowledgeable staff to: A) Plan and participate in Infrastructure, Architecture, and Design activities of the MQ Infrastructure. B) Participate in internal and external Partners Application and MQ integration Troubleshooting. C) Create, update and maintain documentation related to MQ Series. D) Coordination and collaborating with all the internal and external partners for MQ integrated Apps Infrastructure calls E) Participate in Application level Testing. F) Review and analyze application requirements as they pertain to infrastructure and architecture needs within each stage of the system life-cycle (i.e., test, Quality Assurance (QA), production). G) Participate in requirement reviews, peer reviews, and technical analysis. H) Providing analysis on any applicable alternatives. I) Evaluate Design Change Request(s). J) Participate in DRE Activities of Applications integrated with External partners MQ. K) Participate in CRQ Activities, as needed. L) Create, update, troubleshoot and maintain scripting for the various tools generated for the day-to-day maintenance. M) Work with client and Business Owners to document infrastructure and support requirements for various Work Orders. N) Develop Project Plans incorporating the necessary activities to develop the required artifacts. O) Work with the client to complete projects definition, design, planning and execution. P) Coordinate the assignments of the appropriate ES resources to the requested activities. Q) Track progress on ES artifact materials and activities. R) Review and administer the project Change Control procedure with the client Project Manager. S) Work with client project manager/s to identify and prioritize workload which needs to be scoped. Review anticipated pipeline for the coming months’ timeframe.
On-call and weekend work is expected. Position is staff augmentation as part of the Federal Reserve Bank customer team. Locations requested are, in order of preference: Richmond, VA, Dallas, TX and East Rutherford, NJ.
