YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Respond to shop-floor problems by investigating the problem, initiating appropriate containment, developing a corrective action plan, and verifying the effectiveness of actions;
Facilitate internal and external calibration activities;
Develop and implement quality inspection methods;
Participate in bi-weekly continuous improvement meetings with the manufacturing team and facilitate assigned process improvement projects.
YOUR KEY QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
Currently pursuing a B.S Industrial Engineering degree
Computer literate with knowledge of MS Word, Excel and Access, Google Chrome and Google Drive;
Strong teamwork skills and the ability to work with minimal supervision;
Strong mechanical aptitude;
Willingness to learn and successfully apply additional skills and knowledge (Kepner-Tregoe Problem Analysis, Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, inspection techniques, product manuals, etc).
