1. Single-point interface with customers on quality related matters including warranty return for designated customer.
Visit designated customer regularly to develop and maintain a relationship and communication including review quality issues with designated customer as needed.
If defect products were returned from designated customer, preliminary check of failure and product history then forward the information and defective products to Manufacturing Engineering, follow up the issue until closer.
Coordinate Quality Analysis was requested by designated customer for investigation and identification of root causes.
Coordinate and track the Manufacturing Engineering and Analysis teams in problem analysis and 8D (and other) report progress.
Review and submit initial response to the customer.
Review warranty claim information and corporate with cross functional team in problem solving with 8D tool / VPRS until closer.
2. Coordination in case of major issue in addition to the job in the normal case.
Consult with designated customer and coordinate development of short/long term containment actions.
Provide customer and related VETL activities with timely updates in writing on current status and action plans.Review and submit 8D (and other) reports to the customer if Visteon product was found defective.
Facilitate presentation / meeting with internal team / external on Quality of supplied parts issue (if need).
