In this role, you will:
Provide leadership to Babcock’s Cavendish Nuclear branded project delivery in Canada by:
Focusing on project delivery, utilizing the skills and experience to meet or better the commitments against project cost and schedule targets
Actively support the Business Development team to capture new civil nuclear business, including technical components of proposal preparation
Leading the planning, execution, monitoring and close-out of all project activities
Assembling and coordinating international project teams and resources
Reviewing and approving nuclear engineering deliverables
Perform other duties as necessary
As our ideal candidate,
Graduate from a recognized institution with relevant engineering degree and eligible to be licensed as a Professional Engineer in Ontario.
Master’s Degree in Engineering in a relevant field from a recognized institution is desirable.
Significant experience (5+ years) as an nuclear engineer
Have experience in complex project environments in the civil nuclear industry
Experience (2+ years) with Integrated Logistics Support is desirable
Are a member of or are registered with an appropriate Project Management Professional body, such as the Project Management Institute (PMI)
Eligible for security clearance at CNSC licensed utilities in Canada: Bruce Power, OPG, and Canadian Nuclear Laboratories.
