Trident Vantage Systems is seeking a hardware engineer to provide support of acquisition and integration of GN&C hardware on a project at Goddard Space Flight Center.
This engineering position will support the acquisition and integration of GN&C hardware by managing the acquisition of the GN&C hardware, coordinating technical and administrative activities between project personnel, the GN&C component contractor and the GSFC personnel to support the project.
Schedule and lead monthly status report teleconference discussions between the GN&C component contractor and the project.
Schedule and lead GN&C component milestone reviews.
Provide GN&C component acquisition and integration status information in support of the GN&C milestone reviews.
Manage and develop plans for the GN&C component hardware integration.
Knowledge of Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) navigation, gyroscope, accelerometer, stellar navigation, magnetometer, and inertial reference unit device operation and testing is desirable but not required.
Knowledge of and experience testing MIL-STD-1553B data bus and TIA/EIA-422 differential signals is desirable but not required.
Education–A Bachelor of Science degree, or equivalent education and experience, in Aeronautical, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering, Physics, Mathematics or Computer Sciences from an accredited institution.
Experience–Five years or more of engineering experience as described above.
