Performs a broad range of engineering duties including providing quality assurance support and leadership to ensure product is procured and built in accordance with company and customer quality requirements. Projects will be assigned to lead from development through completion.
Provide technical support for products and manufacturing areas.
Assists in developing control plans and process/product inspection requirements to create and maintain appropriate levels of control and help establish acceptance criteria.
Conceptualizes, selects, designs, inspects and tests equipment, tooling, fixtures and software.
Design and execute quality assurance projects.
Performs trouble-shooting and failure mode effects analysis of processes and products.
Initiates root cause analysis and drives the corrective action process.
Must be enrolled full time at a 4-year accredited university/college in one of the following engineering degree programs: industrial, mechanical, electrical, or other equivalent technical fields
Applicant must be able to work up to 40 hours per week
Applicant must be able to work on site at the Creston, IA or Springfield, IL location
Work under minimal supervision to complete assigned tasks and perform follow-up activities on completed projects.
