  • JOB SUMMARY: Under the authority of the Senior Project Manager, the incumbent ensures the development of effective working methods, administrative support and technical development. It leverages the company's revenue. It must make the link between all stakeholders involved in the same site. He should know given the needs and requirements of the customer, suppliers and subcontractors, but also to meet budget and schedule. In addition, he oversees some of the work and sharing his expertise to ensure sound project management.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Related to estimation:

  • To analyse sketches, plans and specifications.
  • To collect the data necessary to develop bids.
  • To search and locate suppliers and / or sub-contractors with the best value for money.
  • To elaborate bids.
  • To attend pre-bid meetings.

Related to operations:

  • To resolve any discrepancies before signing the contract.
  • To ensure the establishment of a site office if required.
  • To ensure you have all the necessary documents from the client and provide all documents required to specification book before work begins.
  • To be sure to have all permits necessary and required.
  • To perform a start-up meeting with the foreman.
  • To perform weekly Safety meeting with colleagues.
  • To produce and approve daily reports.
  • To develop effective work methods ("direct link with the customer and the foreman. He discusses with them to bring new ideas to facilitate our work ").
  • To maintain a constant and close relationship with foremen on each ongoing project.
  • To inspect work, confirm the timetable for carrying out the work and communicate the information to the customer.
  • To supervise and coordinate the various disciplines related to the project and to ensure that work is carried out in accordance with customer requirements and / or contract.
  • To maintain an excellent relationship with supervisor and / or customer representative.
  • To conduct periodic visits to the site to ensure that progress meets the plans and specifications for implementation.
  • To monitor the projects in the resources used (volume of material moved, pipe installation, as-built plan, employees / hours ").
  • To coordinate and supervise the work performed by foremen in accordance with customer requirements in terms of quality, cost and deadline, and takes appropriate actions if necessary.
  • To ensure that foremen complete all required reports.
  • To valid daily reports.
  • To revise the working schedule, if required.
  • To negotiate and sign contracts for subcontracting.
  • To oversee the production of billing ("must know everything that happens on site to manage the production of a proper billing").
  • To approve invoices related to his contract.
  • To handle all correspondence relating to his site.
  • To ensure the claim process on his site.
  • To arrange the issue of counting progressive, if required.
  • To monitor change directives, change orders, deficiencies.
  • To attend site meetings.
  • To attend operation meetings.
  • To ensure technological development of its employees and the development of healthy interpersonal relationships of his employees.
  • To be responsible for physical accommodations for his employees.
  • To inform Senior PM of a major change to the contract.

Related to human resources:

  • To hire personnel site under the supervision of the human resources department and cooperation of foremen.
  • To transmit relevant information including objectives of the company to employees under his responsibility.
  • To enforce regulations of the company.
  • To conduct performance evaluations of his foremen; once a year.

EXPECTED RESULTS:

  • To revise performance evaluations written by his foremen before they meet their employees.
  • To optimize working methods (facilitates the supply: bridging the materials close to work sites).

  • To enforce disciplinary measures for breaches of health and safety.

TECHNICAL SKILLS:

  • Minimum of six (6) years of experience.
  • Site with budget and project management
  • Knowledge of computer systems (Excel, Word)
  • Knowledge of golf / sport fields.
  • To read plans and specifications.
  • Bilingual.

EDUCATION:

  • A college degree is beneficial but not necessary, field experience is highly recommended.

✸The salary package would be $150k annually including the car
