Drill Rig Operator - C.A. Murren & Sons Company

Responsibilities

Operate drill rigs safely
Execute drilling tasks such as, soil drilling, conventional and wireline rock coring, sampling, testing and observing well installation safely and productively
Maintain accurate logs and reports
Ensure OSHA & all company safety procedures are followed
Effectively communicate with field staff, engineers, and clients.
Ability to perform routine maintenance, minor mechanical repairs and associated record keeping.

Qualifications

Two or more years of experience as a geotechnical/environmental drill rig operator. Specific experience in wire line rock coring, mud rotary drilling, and hollow stem auger drilling preferred.
Must have knowledge of rock and soil description.
Maintain an accurate reporting.
A general knowledge of the maintenance of ABI drilling rig.
Must be able to lift 75 pounds without assistance.
