The Boeing Defense Space and Security (BDS) Attach-Mission Systems test team is seeking an Entry Level Systems Engineer to assist in the development and oversight of contractual baseline management tasks for the Apache. The selected candidate will report to the Software Integration and Test Manager and would apply an interdisciplinary and collaborative approach to assist with analyses, design, development and verification of a lifecycle balanced system solutions for integrated software. This position is located in Mesa, AZ.
Develops software verification plans, test procedures and test environments, executing the test procedures and documenting test results to ensure software system requirements are met.
Collaborates with external Integrated Product Teams (IPTs)
Develops, executes project and process plans and leads process improvements.
Reviews/develops requirements, designs and schedules for Software Development across various domains and capabilities to achieve program requirements.
Provides recommendations for technical approaches, products and processes.
Ensures software satisfies requirements and runs adequately by writing and running Acceptance Test Procedures.
Reviews, verifies, and traces Software requirements.
Translates software requirements into Software test verification processes and tasks.
Manages relationships within the Integrated Product Team (IPT).
Reviews and follows Boeing processes for defining the customer product, delivery and support.
Develops new/revised processes in support of customer requirements and/or changes in company guidelines.
Assists in the performance of day-to-day operations including system design, integration, and test of the System Software.
This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.

Bachelor’s degree or higher in engineering management, systems engineering, industrial engineering, aerospace engineering or mechanical engineering
Intermediate competency level in Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Desired Experience, Skills, and Qualifications:
Computer Aided Design Experience
Basic Knowledge of Design Concepts
Basic Understanding of Mechanical Design Techniques
Basic Understanding of Electrical Design Techniques
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience. In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
