We are seeking to hire an air quality consulting Project Manager within our Environmental Services Global Practice in our Houston, TX regional office\!
This position will be responsible for preparing air permit applications for major projects, including Prevention of Significant Deterioration and Title V air permits.
Air dispersion modeling experience a plus, but not necessary.
Technical understanding of his position will require knowledge of oil and gas complex industrial operations in the oil and gas, chemical manufacturing, petroleum refining and/or comparable facilities refinery operations.
Responsible for keeping up to date with new and proposed air permitting requirements, emission estimating methods, and regulations.
Progressive design and project management responsibilities with experience delivering financially successful projects and leading on quality assurance/control procedures.
Provide leadership, guidance and instruction to less experienced staff members.
Regularly meets and corresponds with clients, agency officials, or other outside personnel. Interested in international working partnerships.
This position includes some marketing responsibilities and occasional travel.
Other duties as assigned.
Bachelor's degree in environmental engineering, environmental science, forestry, or similar degree from an accredited program.
Minimum 7 years related experience (completion of master's degree in related field may be substituted for one year of experience).
Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
This position requires an individual capable of Experienced with applying intensive and diversified knowledge of principles and practices to a variety broad areas of air quality consulting assignments.
Must be capable of devising new approaches to problems encountered.
Previous consulting experience preferred. Professional Engineer a plus, but not necessary.
