In this role, you have the opportunity to: Ensures that organization understands and meets regulatory compliance requirements.
You are responsible for:
Ensures Risk Assessments are completed and significant risk is brought to leadership attention.
Measures performance through KPIs
Assurance of regulatory compliance
Reduction of frequency and severity of accidents and incidents (lagging indicators)
Measurement of proactive intervention such as Gemba, Kaizen, behavioral interventions, training and communications (leading indicators)
Prepares and presents management reviews to site leadership
Manages internal safety programs and related/voluntary committees
Provides technical support to implement effective H&S programs in line with Philips requirements.
Implements H&S programs to address risk and maintain compliance
Provides training to employees on H&S requirements
Maintains the entity’s H&S procedures
Implements monitoring and measurement of H&S KPI’s
Tracks corrective actions to on time closure
Prepares H&S performance status for management review
Reports and investigates EHS Accidents and incidents
To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience:
Bachelor’s degree preferred
3 plus of related experience in Health & Safe
Work experience in a Manufacturing and/or Distribution-Logistics facility is preferred.
Experience in applying Lean Methodologies is preferred.
Experience in developing, implementing and managing Environmental and Sustainability programs is required.
Knowledge of ISO 45001-Occupational Health and Safety Management System and ISO 14001 Environmental Management System Standards is required.
Knowledge of and/or experience with Federal/State/Local regulatory compliance (OSHA, Cal/OSHA, ANSI, NFPA, CA DPH, San Bernardino County CUPAs, etc.) is required.
ASP/CSP Certification (or in progress of obtaining) is preferred.
