This role reports to the Apparel Developer in the America’s Sourcing HUB. The Assistant Apparel Developer helps manage all stages of the development process. Support the execution of all GTM calendar development activities to ensure deadlines are met.

Support execution of development activities: proto, commercial sample fabric and garment tracking
Support the execution of all pre-production activities. Supporting fit reviews as needed; orchestrate finish/color reviews for approval
Lead in maintaining accuracy of data into various systems to ensure the integrity of the information
Drive proactive cross functional communication with internal and external stakeholders to achieve efficient and effective product development process.
Meet all deadlines for necessary categories
Involves and communicates with other departments at appropriate times to facilitate process

Bachelor's degree in a related area of study
Minimum 2-3 years work experience in apparel development
2 additional years’ of relevant work experience in lieu of a degree
Proficiency with MS Office, including MS Excel
Knowledge of PLM or other Apparel Development Software
Demonstrated skills in problem solving and results orientation
Able to own and prioritize tasks
Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate goals and objectives
Demonstrates flexibility with job responsibilities
Ability to work independently and cooperatively with a diverse group of people
Ability to network and utilize internal and external resources
