About the role
The successful candidate will work within the AGFiQ Investment Management team in London Ontario. The role involves designing, developing, and supporting proprietary tools to assist with investment research and portfolio management. The position will assist in maintaining the existing ETL processes and data warehouse.
Collaborate with the investment team to create new and enhance existing tools and reports (Excel, SSRS, Python)
Maintain processes to load and cleanse data stored in our investment database (MS SQL Server, SSIS)
Support and develop web applications (ASP.NET, C#)
Collaborate with the IT team to optimize the technology environment
Maintain detailed documentation of processes
Investigate new Business Intelligence technologies
Assist with Cloud-based development
An undergraduate degree – preferably in Computer Science or Engineering
Working knowledge and understanding of relational databases
Experience with IT hardware is highly desirable
A team player, above average communication, critical thinking and attention to details
