The mechanical engineering position will join a fast-paced Infection Prevention Technologies R&D team developing new Sterlizers. You will interact with other engineering disciplines and cross functional team members during the development lifecycle phases from concept development through final release. The mechanical engineering position will utilize problem solving techniques and engineering principles such as statics, dynamics, material science and thermodynamics to address design challenges. You will be involved in 3D Modeling, Design Controls documentation, Design Verification Testing and hands-on prototyping while developing new and innovative solutions for our customers.
What you will do
Assist with the design, development, testing and reports on engineering projects.
Perform analyses, resolve issues using problem solving techniques to develop new and innovative solutions for our Customers.
Prepare design sketches and assists with developing design layouts and drawings for a variety of components, sub-assemblies, processes, or equipment in support of projects.
Interact with vendors, suppliers, and consultants, on a limited basis, to assure compliance with requirements and specifications.
Work as a collaborative team member in engineering projects.

What you need to be successful
Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering with a graduation date of May 2020 or before.
Requires 0+ years of related engineering experience.
At least one relevant semester/summer internship experience in mechancial engineering required for recent graduates. The preference is for experience in new product development.
Working knowledge in a variety of materials, technologies and manufacturing methods is desirable. Examples include: Metal, plastics, rubber, composites, welding, machining, forming, casting, molding
Working knowledge in the following areas: thermodynamics, computation fluid dynamics, finite element analysis, etc.
Basic knowledge / skills
Travel up to 10% including internationally.
