Northrop Grumman Technology Services is seeking an Engineer to support Satellite Systems design and specifications development. Applicant must be able to apply engineering principles to conduct supporting evaluations and analyses of satellite systems design to include modeling and simulation, CubeSAT and SmallSAT satellite BUS design, additive manufacturing, test planning, and interconnecting cabling/wire harnesses assessments, and radiation effects. Some travel may be required.
.Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering
.Demonstrated abilities in Engineering principles
.Demonstrated capability to perform assignments on time, within budget
.Must be a US citizen with the ability to obtain a DOD secret security clearance
Excellent communication, interpersonal skills with leadership quality
Experiences supporting modeling and simulation and system/sub-system operational analysis
Experience with Solid Works CAD, LabView, MatLab
Experience with satellite systems and/or CubeSAT
Experience with additive manufacturing
Current DOD secret security clearance
