Position Description Overview
Technical resource for tool assessment, installation, configuration and maintenance. Requires the ability to triage tool and user issues via log file parsing and network traffic. Will require Governmental security clearance.
Responsible for assessing tools on the market, installation and maintenance of selected tools.
Triage skills required to resolve installation and user issues.
This could include network captures, firewall assessments, user issues, etc.
Tools will include, but not limited to, IBM CLM, Astrex, Paragon, ISO messages, Tosca, and other software testing aids.
oTools administration and support with associated processes implementation.
oApplication and Server maintenance along with trouble shooting network, Windows Server issues by debugging/triage.
oKnowledge of ISO8583 protocol
oBrand & Association simulator experience
oGood Co-ordination skills with the ability to work with cross function teams in resolving BAU issues.
oIntermediate knowledge of SQL Server Management and scripting.
Nice to Have:
oPrevious experience in tools like Rational Suite (CLM), Paragon WebFastest, Astrex, QTest, TOSCA.
oPrevious experience in vendor management will be a plus.
oKnowledge of testing and certifying networks using self-certification tools will be a huge plus.
oPower shell and windows scripting will be a good add on too.
Locations – Omaha, Atlanta, Wilmington
Scope of Job
Works with multiple programs/teams on projects of low to high complexity within one or more development environments. Provides mentoring to less experienced resources.
Technical: Experience in mainframe and/or distributed automation/performance testing.
Good knowledge of information systems elements (hardware, software, network) and their application to business functions/processes.
Knowledge of automated testing tools, database concepts and MS Office.
Good understanding of the key processes in the business and the business rules that impact the development and/or implementation of information systems.
Drives continuous improvement through all processes, including but not limited to, team standards, test planning, resourcing and test execution, as well as debugging, metric collection, and reporting.
