Description of Duties:
The Mission Engineer supports the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) on the Integrated Research & Development for Enterprise Solutions (IRES) contract. The candidate will:
Serve as the Mission Engineer for Exercises and Wargames on the Integrated Research and Development for Enterprise Solutions (IRES) contract
Serve as technical lead for all aspects of Combatant Command (COCOM) exercises
Be responsible for design of architectures, leading integration and test events including exercise execution, and coordinating with government customers and stakeholders
Understand and translate customer requirements into architecture capabilities
Development of work products include, but are not limited to, SV-1, SV-2, communications diagrams, floor plans, rack elevations, test plans, event cyber security plans (ECsP), event reports and problem reports
Be able to work with team in a dynamic environment and multi task
This position is located at Schriever AFB, CO.

Must have one of the following combinations of education and experience: HS Diploma (or GED) and 6 years of general experience; Associate’s degree and 4 years of general experience; Bachelor’s degree and 2 years of general experience; or a Master’s degree.
Must have 2 years in an Engineering field
Must Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or other technical degree
Must be able to travel 25-35% of the time - CONUS and OCONUS
Must have experience with BMDS and Systems Engineering
Must be able to obtain an interim DoD Secret Clearance within 90 days of offer
Active Secret Clearance. Experience in Ballistic Missile Defense Exercises within at least one Combatant Commander’s Area of Responsibility
Experience with MDA models (e.g., EADSIM, SIU, MDST, I- Sim), and other models (e.g., JSAF, Pelorus, RT3)
Experience with network engineering and DoD networks (e.g. MDA CNet, JTEN, NCTE)
