The Front-End Developer / Technical Lead effectively manage an ongoing, NeXT Generation reporting, cloud-based application development team that is geographically distributed.
Collaborate on user experience planning with lead experience architect. Create user interfaces across multiple platforms - web, tablet and mobile. Work with product team to define features needed to create a great user experience for all users. Establish and promote design guidelines, best practices and standards.
Experience as Java/ J2EE front end Lead/ Architect with strong knowledge of UI development (JSP, HTML, CSS, Ajax, XML & JSON)
Experience as Microsoft Asp.net Webforms/ Asp.net MVC, .Net framework, .net core with strong knowledge of UI development (C#, HTML, CSS, jQuery, XML & JSON)
Strong knowledge in UI/ MVC architecture
Strong knowledge of HTML 5/ CSS3 standards
Experience in CSS frameworks is a plus (SASS or LESS, JSS)
Technical expertise in the design, development, coding, testing, and debugging of software
Hands on experience in UI optimization best practice implementations
Experience with latest technologies such as Node.js, React/Redux, Angular.js or others is a plus
Basic awareness of React/Redux development or willingness to learn
Knowledge of modern authorization mechanisms, such as JSON Web Token (Oauth2)
Experience with common front-end development tools such as Babel, Web pack, NPM, etc.
Familiarity with RESTful APIs using Node.js & Express.js
Experience with Git/GitHub and the Git Flow process
Experience integrating with CI/CD deployment methodology
Expertise in data modelling and implementing applications using MySQL for metadata management
Strong unit testing habits and an exacting attention to detail
Strong problem-solving ability and a positive attitude
Excellent oral and written communications skills
Minimum 8 years’ experience in software development
Experience working with the Agile/SAFe development model
