Job Responsibilities

As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will support manufacturing for the Sugar, Cotton, and Construction Products by establishing routings, layouts, tool development/costs, quality plans, method documentation, and labor standards for revisions to current products and or new product programs. Responsibilities will include:

Work closely with Operations, Quality, and Order Fulfillment personnel to support production processes, model year programs, and new product programs, ensuring that necessary production rates, process capabilities, and productivity requirements are met.
Design and implement manufacturing solutions using e-tools such as Creo, Creo NC, Creo View, Vericut, JDAAT, and MP Planner.
Lead teams to investigate and develop solution for safety, quality, and productivity issues, using the None Conforming Corrective Action system.
Interpret product specification including GD&T and apply to tooling and fixture development.
Serve as Manufacturing Engineering lead for natural work groups.

What Skills You Need

3 or more years of manufacturing processes experience that include assembly, machining, and weld.
3 or more years of engineering tools experience that include SAP, Creo, Creo View, Creo NC, Vericut, Wplanner, MP Planner.
3 or more years of experience developing safe assembly, weld, and machining methods to eliminate waste and improve standards.
3 or more years of assembly, weld, and machining fixture/tool development experience utilizing creo parametric and the principles of GD&T.
3 or more years of manufacturing line design, material flow, material presentation, and manpower planning experience.
What Makes You Stand Out

5 or more years in a manufacturing engineering role within a manufacturing environment.
Strong knowledge of Creo Parametric, GD&T, MP Planner, & JDAAT.
Experience with Computer Numerically Controlled equipment (CNC).
Ability to lead small improvement teams and communicate upwards to key stakeholders.
Good understanding of the continues improvement process.
Education

Bachelor of science degree in engineering discipline that includes Manufacturing, Mechanical, Industrial enginerring/technology, or related discipline.
