Are you looking for an intimate, fast-paced AWS team to apply your deep analytical and engineering skills to? Come join us building the Amazon Chime SDK! The Amazon Chime SDK provides a SaaS solution to audio, video, content share, and more. Launched in 2020, the SDKJ is built on top of the AWS cloud using AWS toolsets. We are specifically looking for builders who are interested designing and building client side native SDKs on platforms including iOS, Android, Linux, Windows, and MacOS.
At Amazon Chime, we believe in using AWS's scale, reliability, flexibility and ease of use to deliver early versions of this exciting software quickly and iteratively, to get customer feedback, and use the feedback to make data driven and agile decisions. We rely on software engineers leveraging their own expertise and perspectives to drive quality into our product.
This specific position is to help build out our SDK ecosystem. The Chime SDK is a mix of webRTC and proprietary systems that allow developers to easily embed low latency real-time audio, video, and content sharing into their application, and is available world-wide. We support a variety of client side platforms and are interested in hearing from developers who have expertise or interest in building efficient SDKs in C++, Kotlin, Swift, or C#. We solve interesting, real-world challenges - we optimize the customer experience for a range of devices, develop new user experiences, overcome slow networks, low batteries, and build common technologies that can be used by other teams.
