Lockheed Martin is seeking to hire an Quality Engineering professional to support our Missiles and Fire Control campus in Camden, Arkansas. Our operations utilize state of the processes to produce and validate hardware for sophisticated missile systems. This exciting role will offer the opportunity to work with multiple hardware and launcher programs that support our military personnel.
For assigned areas of responsibility plans and organizes, directs and reports on all supplier quality related activities such as raw materials, packaging materials, as well as contract manufacturers, and laboratories to assure fulfilment of contract, purchase order requirements. Ensure control of supplier nonconforming items, conducts analyses and monitor effectiveness of corrective actions. Collaborates with internal engineering and manufacturing functions and external suppliers to ensure quality standards are in place. Monitors quality control activities and systems at supplier and subcontractor facilities as requested, and maintains feedback loops. When called upon perform source surveillance & validation at source inspections, audit third party manufacturers, special process auditing. Ensures that corrective measures meet acceptable reliability standards and that documentation is compliant with requirements. May be certified in lean and six-sigma quality engineering methodologies.

Camden is a city in southern Arkansas. Camden is located on the Ouachita River, at the end of the navigable river. Camden is about a two hour drive south from Little Rock, AR. Bachelors degree from an accredited college, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 2 years of professional experience;
Experienced in dealing with receipt of supplied product or dealing with a supply base relative to Quality assurance activities
Organized with the ability to track multiple activities and prioritize task based on importance
Ability to interpret Drawings, Specifications, Contracts that will enable development and review of QE Processes, and related Performance Metrics.
Effective interpersonal skills, including Team building and Collaboration
Demonstrated problem solving skills, including Root Cause Analysis and Corrective Action Planning.
Effective Communication Skills:
Written, Oral, Listening, Presentation, Technical Writing.
Proficient skill level with Microsoft Office applications:
Word, Excel, Powerpoint, etc
Ability to obtain a Secret security clearance so must be a US Citizen.
Technical Degree, preferably in Engineering
- Working knowledge of GD&T,
- Experience in utilizing quality tools such as FMEA's, 5 Whys, failure analysis tools etc.
