Location: Provo, UT
Minimum Requirement: 3.75 GPA
Designing and developing control systems and components for the Universal Utility™ (designing, engineering, assembling, prototyping, testing, analyzing, integrating, & commercializing components.)
Performing research, simulations, calculations, analysis, and testing of components and systems.
Designing, executing, and analyzing required experiments.
Innovating and developing next-generation components and systems including product specifications and requirements.
Interacting with suppliers, manufacturers, engineers, scientists, investors, and management.
Preferably 10 years experience with control systems or a Ph.D. focused in the area of control systems.
Experience with integrated circuit and/or PLC design and programming.
Experience with smart electronics devices preferred.
Experience in manufacturing, procurement, & supply chain desired.
Experience with energy storage, batteries, electrical systems, and fuel cells advantageous.
Experience with DC electronics and power systems desirable.
Qualifications & Skills
B.S. in engineering, preferably Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or similar discipline.
Prefer Ph.D. or M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related discipline.
5-10 years work experience desired.
Ability to collaborate and interact with a multi-disciplinary team.
Ability to innovate, design, build, test, and mature technologies independently in a fast-paced organization.
Programming skills for PLCs and/or integrated circuits. Matlab, C/C++, Python experience.
Excellent documentation skills, including drawings, testing requirements, and assembly and manufacturing instructions.
