Description:
Programmer/Operator: Advanced skill level in all CNC Programmer duties. Responsible for programming and maintenance of computer numeric controlled production equipment. Must have thorough tooling selection knowledge, the ability to create and design fixtures and must be able to 5 Axis Program. Skilled in all CNC Operator duties. Responsible for operating one or more types of computer numeric controlled production equipment. Selects appropriate settings and makes adjustments as necessary. Follows established quality and safety standards. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required. Must have basic shop practice knowledge.

  • 4+ years direct experience working in a machining CNC programming/operating role
  • Ability to read, interpret, and understand Blueprints.
  • Ability to create and edit CNC programs that support the machining of large-scale, complex, precision metal components
  • Experience with Haas machines
  • Mastercam and G-code experience
  • Must have machinist tools

Supervision: Minimal to no supervision from Supervisor. Typically reports to a supervisor/manager.
Education: May require a high school diploma or its equivalent. May be required to meet certain certifications in a specialized area but typically requires a bachelor's degree in area of specialty and 4-6 years of experience in the field or in a related area.
