ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Ensure that the Marina operations meet state and federal regulations.
Ensure that the Launches, Guide Boat and other watercraft are properly maintained, licensed and meet state and federal regulations.
Responsible for the upkeep of the grounds and waterfront of Eddy’s Resort, maintaining said locations in accordance with the standards set forth by the Marina Manager and the General Manager.
Maintain all mechanical equipment in working condition; ensure all worn parts are replaced; maintain parts inventory and stock.
Operate company vehicles as required.
Responsible for adherence to all company policies and procedures.
Maintains strict adherence to all OSHA safety rules and regulations.
Conducts preventative maintenance on equipment as assigned.
Responsible for ensuring that all general maintenance and repairs of minor problems throughout the property are promptly and correctly done.
Maintains pool facilities as assigned.
Maintains housekeeping equipment as needed.
Responds to maintenance requests on a daily basis, according to facility needs in the Waterfront, Marina and Hotel.
Maintains a neat, clean and organized work area in the maintenance shop.
Ensures that all cleaning materials, chemicals and equipment are used in accordance with the manufacture instructions.
Responsible for repair and routine maintenance and replacements necessary in assigned areas and is accountable for cleanliness and overall condition of the property and grounds.
Establish and adhere to project schedules.
Communicate with appropriate management for coordination and implementation of project goals and timelines.
Respond to guest requests in a timely manner. Notify management of incidents or conflicts that affect normal business operation or Guest services.
Any and all other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
Must have a valid Driver’s License.
Graduate of operating engineers apprentice program; and/or six (6) years related experience and/or training as a journeyman mechanic, preferably in the hotel industry; or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
Two (2) years of Marina/Resort maintenance preferred.
