Ensures the quality and compliance of the biomedical, technical, and quality aspects of the sleep services provided by UHCMC, across the University Hospitals Health System. Perform diagnosis, repair, and calibrate sleep equipment. Project Management. Design, develop, modify and install sleep acquisition systems in existing and/or new locations. Provide technical assistance and education to sleep lab staff, contractors, consultants and employees. Work with IT department to ensure network connectivity on sleep acquisition systems as well as reading/review computers. Perform all necessary maintenance responsibilities on the servers as well as acquisition systems to support the Sleep Center’s operation. Active participant in quality and accreditation process.
Bachelor Degree 5 plus years of experience Bachelor of Biomedical Engineering required. Master degree preferred. 5 years of sleep experience. Preceptor experience preferred.
