The Sales Engineer is positioned to collaborate directly with our sales teams in guiding new and returning clients through the technology selection. Previous background in technical solution design and engineering as well as excellent communication skills to help manage the implementation of projects will deliver business value to customers.

Responsible for actively driving and managing the technology evaluation stage of the sales process, working in conjunction with the sales team as the key technical advisor.
Providing support to the Sales Team in requirement identification, solution design, and customer presentation for the Audio-Visual Project Opportunities.
Providing discovery (on-site/remote) support to capture environmental details.
Create new sales and marketing strategies that target B2B customers and positions our products as the best solutions for prospective clients.
Architecting cost effect, reliable, supportable, audio visual designs based on the clients needs analysis and best practices.
Assist design team in developing detailed Scope of Works for of Audio-Visual Projects.
Interacting in person, by phone, &/or e-mail directly with client management and end-users.
Responsible for articulating technology and product positioning to both business and technical users.
Identifying all technical issues of assigned accounts to assure complete customer satisfaction through all stages of the sales process.
Delivering technology training to Sales and customers as requested.
Identify areas where we can improve customer satisfaction and repeat business, then communicate those issues and possible solutions to management.
Required Education and Experience
- Bachelors Degree in Engineering or Business Administration or related field required
- Previous sales experience required
- 5+ years experience in the Audio Visual or technology industry
Strong business acumen and problem-solving skills
Excellent organizational skills and follow through
Strong communication skills, poise and executive presence with ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization internally and externally
Collaborative and supportive team member, contributes in a positive way to organizational culture
