Manage our team of electrical engineers- providing mentorship and expertise to give high quality client service.
Helping to coordinate with other internal staff allocating engineering resources from bid stage through construction to the completion of design plans for client and company continuity.
Overseeing a team of engineers that create/modify design documents and drawings for projects, including one-line, three-line control schematics and wiring diagrams.
Working with project managers to fully develop system integration of protection, control and monitoring systems for client projects utilizing engineering resource hours.
Ensuring that every engineer at our company has clear communication on objectives and expectations in their role.
Providing leadership, guidance and instruction to engineers reporting to you. Conduct feedback sessions and help to coordinate monthly meetings going over “lessons learned” with engineers.
Facilitating training and development activities to help staff gain new skills and knowledge that applies to this field.

High voltage engineering background and substation engineering experience is a must for this qualified Engineering Manager.
Bachelors in Electrical engineering required, PE preferred
Minimum 10 years total work experience required in relay protection and control design of high voltage 12-765kV substations with a minimum of 1 year managing other engineers.
Experience giving performance evaluations and employee feedback sessions
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
