Martin/Martin has an opening for a self-motivated experienced (12+ years) Construction Services Representative within our expanding Program Management Group. The position provides diverse opportunities to work on program management (client representation/construction services), transportation water/wastewater, municipal, and federal projects. Responsibilities will include: client representation, council/board meetings, contract documents, construction administrative services such as bidding services, scheduling, budgeting, specifications, punch lists, site observations, and coordination with agencies, stakeholders, and clients. Additional tasks will include estimating, quantity take-offs as well as coordination with the design team, contractors, and other stakeholders. This is not an entry-level position. Required Qualifications:

  • Twelve plus years of field experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or related field
  • Previous experience in construction services and client representation
  • Strong knowledge of general civil design criteria
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently
  • Management capabilities
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Committed to client service and a team-based approach
  • Quality control conscience
  • Ability to read and interpret plans and details

Desired Qualifications:

  • Construction industry experience in both horizontal and vertical projects
  • Experience with AutoCAD/Civil 3D and/or MicroStation/InRoads to produce civil construction documents
  • Registered Professional Engineer in the State of Colorado or the ability to attain license within one year
  • Ability to mentor others
